1. Copy of granting and biometric information
All travellers that want to travel to India with the help of the e-visa applied for through this form need to carry a printed copy of the visa in which the granting is confirmed. If an e-visa application is approved, this confirms that the traveller in question is admissible under the e-visa program of the government of India. Upon arrival in India, an employee of the Indian government checks once again if travellers have complied with all the requirements they have indicated to comply with in the application form.
Travellers grant permission to the Indian government to gather their biotmetric data on arrival in India, including photos and fingerprints. Traveller that do not cooperate with this are denied entry to India. Travellers that do not meet the requirements of the e-visa which is applied for through this form can potentially still apply for a regular India visa at one of the Indian missions. All information about travellers, provided by themselves or in the name of a third party, need to be truthful and correct.
2. Electronic travel authorisation
An electronic travel authorisation (ETA) can at all times be retracted by the government of India, without needing to provide a reason. Submitting false, fictional or deceptive information through an e-visa application can lead to prosecution by the Indian government. After paying for a visa application, the application procedure cannot be cancelled or changed.
3. Confirmation validity filled out information
I, the person submitting this application form, declare that I have read, understood and completely and correctly answered the statement of agreement, the questions in the application form and associated explanations.
