Travel information

To limit the spread of COVID-19, the Sri Lankan authorities want to know where travellers were staying in the two weeks prior to their trip to Sri Lanka. You can only apply for a visa if all travellers that you included in the application form were staying in the same country for the entire 14-day period before departure to Sri Lanka.

Statement of agreement

I declare that each traveller in this application has read and understood all questions and that this form has been filled in truthfully with complete, accurate and current information. I understand that filling in incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information may result in rejection of the ETA. I also understand that a granted ETA does not provide guaranteed entry into Sri Lanka, as immigration authorities are entitled to refuse entry to unwanted travellers on arrival in Sri Lanka at any time. I understand that the ETA does not allow travellers to engage in employment (paid or unpaid) or other (business) activities in Sri Lanka that are not specified on the ETA. Lastly, I understand that each traveller must possess a ticket on arrival that allows them to leave Sri Lanka, and that each traveller must be able to prove they have sufficient financial resources to cover the entire trip.

Passport help

e-Visa.ie is a commercial and professional visa agency that is an official partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), with the membership number 57231226. e-Visa.ie assists travellers in obtaining the visa for Sri Lanka. e-Visa.ie acts as an intermediary. It is not a law firm, does not employ any lawyers, does not provide any legal advice, and is in no way part of any government. You can always directly apply for a visa at the immigration service (for 52 USD per visa, via eta.gov.lk). In that case, you will not receive any assistance. When you apply with e-Visa.ie, our support centre is at your disposal on a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week basis. We also review your application before submitting it to the immigration authorities on your behalf. If we suspect any errors or omissions during this process, we will contact you immediately to ensure that your application can still be processed swiftly and correctly. To use our service, you pay 52 USD in consular fees, which we pay to the immigration service on your behalf, as well as € 30.01 in service fees (including VAT) as a remuneration for our mediation. Our services have already saved many travellers from major problems during their trip. If an application is rejected despite our support and double-checks, we will refund the full purchase price (unless an application for a Sri Lanka visa has been previously rejected for the same traveller).
