Cambodia is represented in the United Kingdom through the Embassy of Cambodia in London. British travellers to Cambodia can visit Cambodia’s embassy in London for visa applications and other consular matters. However, tourists usually do not need to visit the embassy for a visa Cambodia. Travellers who meet the e-visa requirements can easily submit their application online.

Countries of accreditation of the Embassy of Cambodia in London

Cambodia has diplomatic representation in only a few European cities: Brussels, Paris, Berlin, London, Geneva, Zurich, Belgrade, Warsaw and Moscow. Cambodia’s embassy in London is also accredited to Denmark, Ethiopia, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden and carries out embassy tasks for these countries. Citizens of the above-mentioned countries should contact the embassy for all consular matters or if they are not eligible for an electronic visa.

On the other hand, Cambodians in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Ethiopia, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden need to travel to London for consular matters (unless the consulate in Zurich or the embassy in Berlin is closer). They can contact the embassy in the United Kingdom to renew or to apply for travel documents, such as an (emergency) passport.

Apply for a visa online rather than at the embassy

Most travellers do not need to visit the embassy for a visa to enter Cambodia, since they can easily apply online. However, the online visa application is subject to a number of conditions that need to be met. Travellers with this type of visa may not stay longer than 30 days in Cambodia, and they may only arrive at a limited number of locations in the country, namely the airports of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville and the border crossing points Cham Yeam, Poi Pet, Bavet and Tropaeng Kreal. Moreover, the electronic visa is for tourist purposes only.

People wishing to stay in Cambodia for more than 30 days, who are not arriving at any of the above locations or who are travelling to Cambodia not for a holiday, but for business or volunteering, for example, have to apply for their visa at the Embassy in London. As an e-visa can only be obtained at the above-mentioned airports or border crossing points and not at a port, cruise travellers are not eligible for the e-visa. They also need to apply for a visa at the embassy before departure.

e-Visa.ie is a commercial and professional visa agency, and supports travellers in obtaining, among others, the Cambodia visa. e-Visa.ie acts as an intermediary and is in no way part of any government. You can also apply for a visa directly with the immigration service (36 USD per visa, via www.evisa.gov.kh). However, not with our level of support. If you submit your application via e-Visa.ie, our support centre is available to you 24/7. In addition, we manually check your application and all the documents you provide before submitting it to the immigration authorities on your behalf. If we suspect any errors or omissions while doing so, we will personally contact you to ensure that your application can still be processed quickly and correctly. To use our services, you pay us 36 USD in consular fees, which we pay to the immigration service on your behalf, as well as € 31,54 in service fees as compensation for our services, including VAT. Our services have saved many travellers from major problems during their trip. Should an application be rejected despite our support and verification, we will refund the full purchase price (unless an application for a previous Cambodia visa was rejected for the same traveller).
